A New Hello!

Hello! My name is Karah Joyner, the 2016-2017 Heartland FFA Reporter.  I have been in the FFA for two years, going on three.  I'm going to be an eleventh grader and I'm excited for the upcoming year.

The new officers are: President - Addie Swartzendruber, Vice Presidents - Krynn Arbuck and Austin Stuhr, Treasurer - Kyle Ott, Sentinel - Lane Huebert, Secretary - Cheyenne Hiebner, Reporter - Karah Joyner, Parliamentarian - Peyton Ott, and the Junior officers (not pictured): Connor Boehr and Taylor Quiring.

During the summer, we have different activities already planned. During June the members that earned 250 leadership points during the school year get to go to the Henry Doorley Zoo. We will be spending the night under the sharks, and learning more about the wildlife.  We are also working at the York Relay for Life.  In July, we are going to help at Community days, Bradshaw days, and serve supper at the Farmer's Market.  Finally during August, we enter our projects in the York County Fair and serve another Farmer's Market supper.

Stay tuned for words from our next events.
